Three political parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa condemned the civilian casualties caused by the Pakistani military regime in Afghanistan and called on Kabul and Islamabad to resolve their issues through dialogue and refrain from war.

In a signed statement, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, leader of the Awami National Party of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and opposition leader in Pakistan, Mohsin Dawar, leader of the National Democratic Movement, and Khushal Kakar, a member of Pakistan’s parliament and leader of the Awami National Party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, described the conflict as an undeclared war.

The parties expressed concern, stating that if the conflict continues, more civilians will suffer harm.

Through the same statement, the parties called on Pakistan to stop the violent projects of major powers and establish peaceful and stable relations with Afghanistan.
