The Ministry of Public Works has announced that during the past week (from 15 to 21 solar month), a total of 178,421 metric tons of goods were transported through the ministry’s railway network.

According to the ministry, these transfers were carried out through the Hairatan, Torghundi, Aqina, and Herat–Khaf ports.

The source added that 1,090 tons of the total shipments were exports, the majority of which consisted of dried fruits and pomegranates.

The Ministry of Public Works stated that it is working to provide more facilities for traders to transport goods through the railway network.
