Local sources say that today (Friday), an armed attack targeted Pakistani soldiers in the Anjira area of Khuzdar district in Balochistan, resulting in at least eight killed and injured.
According to reports, the attack was carried out against a Pakistani military patrol in the area.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far; however, Baloch separatist groups have a strong presence in the area.
Sources also reported that a bomb attack targeted Pakistani forces in the Zehri area of Khuzdar, but no details about possible casualties have been provided.
