The recent message from Pakistani military regime President Asif Zardari regarding Nowruz and the warm welcome from the Resistance Front marks the beginning of a dangerous political drama that, under the guise of cultural celebration, is paving the way for new deals concerning Afghanistan’s future. Although these words seem to largely praise Nowruz, in reality, they are an intelligence tactic to manipulate the emotions of the general public. The praise of a regime’s leader by the Resistance Front and the warm reception of his message, which has spread the poison of war and conspiracies in our country’s for decades, is not only political ignorance but also confirms their deep and secretive alliance with foreign powers.
This sudden coordination between the two sides is, in fact, the second chapter of a “joint conspiracy.” History has repeatedly shown that whenever Pakistan has shed theatrical tears over the situation of Afghans, it has been trying to create a pretext for implementing its own schemes. In the current situation, where the Resistance Front praises the statements of Zardari and any other officials of the Pakistani regime, they actually want to legitimize and justify the military regime’s attacks, which have only civilian casualties on this side of the Durand Line.
In Zardari’s message, the condemnation of the Afghan government and the mention of the Afghan people’s sufferings (!) The mention is not out of genuine concern but rather a fake tactic of sympathy, aiming to portray itself as a friend of the Afghan people. In this game, the Resistance Front is also used as a powerful tool of propaganda by the military regime. They want to exploit political, religious, cultural, and other ties to show Pakistan’s hands as free of blood, despite being stained with the blood of thousands of Afghans. There is an attempt to gradually normalize the “Pakistan-friendly” positions among ordinary Afghans and sell the enemy’s aggression under the guise of friendship.
This is a planned conspiracy that aims to tie all national and historical issues of the Afghans to the geopolitical interests of neighboring countries. The Afghan people must understand that national issues within the country should not be exploited by those factions for the political gains of a group that holds flowers of friendship in one hand and deals of selling the country in the other. The unconditional support of the Resistance Front for all positions of the military regime sends a message to the people that they are even willing to fall into the arms of those mercenaries who are considered the main perpetrator of all Afghanistan’s misfortunes.
This kind of closeness between the Pakistani regime and the Resistance Front is a sign of new intelligence deals at the regional level. Pakistan wants to maintain a “puppet alternative” for Afghanistan that can be used for its strategic interests in difficult circumstances. The Resistance Front is now consciously at the forefront of this project. They introduce themselves as the main implementers of Afghan culture, while in reality, they are beating the drums of policies that look down upon Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and pave the way for new forms of foreign intervention.
The Afghan people must be aware against these political dramas. Afghans must not allow their internal commonalities to fall victim to the traps of foreign intelligence networks. Pakistan’s past and present policies toward Afghanistan have never been based on sincerity. Therefore, any faction that praises Pakistan’s “Enlightened policy” and legitimizes their interventions should be recognized as a serious threat and their actions as historical treason. The salvation of Afghanistan lies in internal unity and vigilance, not in believing messages that smell of treason.
