The spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense, Enayatullah Khwarizmi, said that Afghan defense forces last night confiscated a number of smuggled weapons in Dand Patan district of Paktia province.

Mr. Khwarizmi added that the seized weapons include 20 Krinkov rifles, four Kalashnikov rifles, and two M4-type weapons.

It is worth noting that the day before yesterday, Afghan defense forces also discovered and seized similar smuggled weapons and ammunition from Pakistan in Nangarhar province.
