The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs has announced that the transfer of Afghan pilgrims to Saudi Arabia officially started yesterday.

The ministry stated that this year, 30,000 pilgrims from Afghanistan will be sent to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj rituals.

According to the information, this process will be carried out from four major zones of the country through 96 flights. As planned, 15,000 pilgrims will be transported directly to Madinah, while another 15,000 will be sent to Makkah via Jeddah Airport.

The Deputy Minister for Professional Affairs at the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs, Hafiz Mohammad Hamid Hasib, said that full preparations have been made for pilgrims in terms of accommodation, food, and transportation.

The pilgrims of the first flight departed from Kabul International Airport towards the Two Holy Mosques.
