RT Arabic, a Russian media outlet, has reported that former Israeli prime ministers Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid have formed a coalition against current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the upcoming elections.

Bennett described this move as a historic step to end Netanyahu’s “era of division” and to rebuild Israel. He pledged that, if successful, they would establish an investigative commission into the events of October 7 and implement equal military service for all citizens.

He also called on other political leaders to join the new coalition.
