Afghan-American former U.S. diplomat Zalmay Khalilzad has strongly condemned the recent attacks carried out by the Pakistani military regime in Kunar province, calling it brutal.
He stressed that these strikes must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
Khalilzad further stated that the attacks raise serious questions about the Pakistani military regime’s role and credibility in its efforts to mediate between the United States and Iran.
The statement comes after the Pakistani military regime launched rocket strikes yesterday on Kunar’s provincial center and other civilian areas, resulting in the martyring of four people, including women and children, and leaving more than 70 others injured.
