Donald Trump said that U.S is assessing the possibility of reducing its military presence in Germany.
According to a BBC report, he added that a decision on the matter is expected in the near future.
The remarks come as U.S. pressure on European countries increases over their lack of participation in a conflict between the United States and Iran.
Trump had previously also stated that he is reviewing the role of certain European countries within NATO.
