    Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadim Travels to Tatarstan Leading a High-Level Delegation

    The Ministry of Higher Education says that the minister of the ministry, Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadim, has traveled to Tatarstan at the head of a high-level delegation to participate in the “Russia and the Islamic World” forum.

    The ministry added that accompanying Mr. Nadim in the delegation are the Minister of Industry and Commerce, deputy ministers from the ministries of Finance, Economy, Public Works, Mines and Petroleum, and Public Health, Afghanistan’s ambassador in Moscow, and several other government officials.

    According to the Ministry of Higher Education, on the sidelines of the “Russia and the Islamic World” forum, the first meeting of the joint Kabul-Moscow Economic and Trade Commission will also be held at Russia’s request.

    The source further stated that the sessions of the forum will be held from May 13 to 15, 2026, in the city of Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan.
