International media reported that U.S. President Donald Trump, in a post on his social media platform Truth Social, stated: “Obama is a traitor and should be arrested and imprisoned.”
Trump made these remarks in response to a post by one of his supporters, which referred to alleged efforts by Obama to discredit Trump during the election campaign.
Earlier, the U.S. president had also called for Obama’s arrest following protests in Minneapolis in support of the former president.
