In its Eid message, the leadership of the Afghan government stated that under the rule of the Islamic Emirate, the Sharia rights of all citizens throughout the country are protected and upheld. The leadership said no one is permitted to oppress others, oppression is prevented, and the rights of the oppressed are actively pursued.
The message further stated that with the continued operation of Sharia courts, Islamic law has been implemented countrywide, while the obligation of promoting virtue and preventing vice is being carried out in practice.
The leadership also reaffirmed its commitment to reforming society in accordance with Sharia principles, assuring that efforts in this regard remain ongoing.
