Fox News reported that a Situation Room meeting held by U.S. President Donald Trump on Iran has concluded after nearly two hours.
According to a White House official cited in the report, Trump would only approve an agreement that aligns with U.S. interests and meets his stated red lines, stressing that Iran will not be permitted to obtain a nuclear weapon under any circumstances.
Several hours after the meeting, War Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that if negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program fail, the U.S. military is ready to carry out renewed strikes against Iran.
