The First Deputy Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank, Sediqullah Khalid, met today (Tuesday) with Jeff Grieco, President of the Afghanistan–United States Chamber of Commerce.
According to Da Afghanistan Bank, the meeting focused on the expansion of correspondent banking relationships for Afghanistan’s commercial banks, the improvement of financial services, international money transfers, and the stability of the banking sector.
Mr. Khalid stated that Da Afghanistan Bank is committed to supporting the private sector and expanding constructive cooperation and relations with all domestic and international institutions to promote trade and economic growth.
Meanwhile, the President of the Afghanistan–United States Chamber of Commerce emphasized the importance of expanding joint cooperation to strengthen banking and commercial relations, promote economic growth, facilitate business activities, and support the private sector.
