The Minister of Defense, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, visited the 217 Omari Corps in the country’s northeastern zone, where he reviewed the corps’ security, administrative, and military affairs and received reports from officials on their ongoing activities.
According to the Ministry of Defense, he provided the officials with necessary recommendations to further improve organizational management, strengthen professional coordination, and ensure the effective execution of their assigned responsibilities.
During his visit, the Defense Minister also met with a number of disabled Mujahideen in Kunduz Province, listened to their concerns and requests, and provided them with financial assistance as a gesture of support.
