Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said the United States has violated several key provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Iran and the U.S.
According to him, the alleged violations include breaching arrangements related to the Strait of Hormuz, continuing to threaten further military attacks, reimposing sanctions on Iran’s oil exports, carrying out strikes on southern Iran, and allowing Israeli attacks on Lebanon to continue.
These remarks were also published on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Qalibaf stressed that “the era of coercion and extortion is over. Such policies yield no results, and Iran will never surrender.”
He made these remarks as Iran and the United States have once again exchanged attacks.
