International media report that the United States has announced measures to take steps to limit and weaken the International Criminal Court (ICC).
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington will work with its allies to reduce the court’s influence and will not recognize international institutions that, in its view, take politically motivated actions against the United States or its allies.
Although the ICC has not taken any significant action against US officials to date, it issued an arrest warrant for Zionist regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over crimes committed during the ongoing war in Gaza, making him a wanted criminal under international law.
