Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei says a US strike on a wedding ceremony in Kuhestak, Sirik County, Hormozgan province, hit a residential building, killing at least four people, including a child, and injuring more than 50 others.
The Iranian Red Crescent also confirmed that four people were killed and more than 50 others injured in the attack.
Baghaei described the incident as part of a series of US attacks on civilians, saying similar strikes had also been carried out in Minab, Lamerd and Qeshm.
He warned that Tehran would respond to the attacks with a “firm and decisive” response, adding that countries that remain silent in the face of attacks on civilians would also be held responsible for the consequences.
