Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid says that during the 1447 Hijri lunar year, Afghanistan’s security forces, during special operations, discovered and seized 2,858 light and heavy weapons, 25,854 rounds of ammunition, 169 mines, 7 hand grenades, 7 radios, and 10 binoculars.
Mr. Mujahid made these remarks during the fifth session of “The Government in the Media Mirror Program.”
He added that during the same period, 804 smugglers were also arrested along with 232 vehicles, 26 motorcycles, one Ranger vehicle, and one jamming device.
