The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that counter narcotics forces seized a drug production facility, 48 kilograms of crystal meth, 11,000 narcotic tablets and more than 23,000 kilograms of materials used in drug production during separate operations in five provinces. The seizures also included hundreds of liters of acid.
According to the ministry, a drug production facility and 48 kilograms of crystal meth were seized in Uruzgan province. In Kandahar and Kabul provinces, the forces seized 11,000 narcotic tablets, while in Helmand and Ghazni provinces, they seized more than 23,000 kilograms of materials used to produce drugs, along with hundreds of liters of acid.
