Gulf News reported that Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei said Tehran has set seven conditions for starting talks with the United States and has conveyed them to Washington.
Rezaei said Tehran’s position is clear and that if the United States wants to resolve the current situation, it must recognize Iran’s rights and accept its conditions. He said Qatar, acting as a mediator, has conveyed Iran’s conditions to Washington, and Tehran is now awaiting a response from US President Donald Trump.
Iranian officials have not yet released the full list of the seven conditions. However, Rezaei has separately identified an end to the war on all fronts, the release of Iran’s frozen assets and an end to the naval blockade as key conditions set by Tehran.
