    Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi Hears Prisoners’ Concerns and Requests in Kandahar

    A statement issued by the Emiratei Palace (Arg) says that Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for administrative Affairs, led a delegation to assess the situation at Kandahar Central Prison. He emphasized the need to improve healthcare and food services for prisoners and to provide better opportunities for education.

    During his visit to various sections and blocks of the prison, Hanafi also met with a number of prisoners and listened to their problems, requests, and suggestions.

    In a meeting with prison officials, he stressed that prisoners should be treated in accordance with the principles of Islamic Sharia and human rights, and that their problems should be addressed.
