The Ministry of Industry and Commerce reports that trade relations between Afghanistan and China are stable. In 2024, the total exports and imports between the two countries amounted to $809 million, with Afghan traders’ challenges in this sector resolved.

According to Ministry officials, expensive stones, dried fruits, and carpets have been exported to China, while various machines, textiles, and raw materials for factories have been imported from China.

Notably, Afghanistan has recently increased its trade with neighboring countries other than Pakistan, which, in addition to offering numerous advantages, has had a highly positive impact on commercial market.
