Information received by Hindukush Voice indicates that yesterday afternoon, Ahmad Mukhtar, a resident of Malkan Ghundi village in the Hessae Awal district of Kapisa province, was killed while attempting to flee from security forces.

Mukhtar, who had been part of the special units of the collapsed republican regime, was reported to the police by local residents for a series of destructive activities. As a result, he was captured by security forces but was killed while attempting to escape.

The source further adds that security forces also recovered a Turkish pistol from him.
