In the current sensitive phase of Afghanistan, the positions of the opposing factions and individuals of the Afghan government, who, instead of strengthening the system, are seeking change in anticipation of American and European projects in foreign countries, reflect their intellectual servitude. These groups, which have experienced power under the shadow of foreign dollars and occupation in the past two decades, today, in order to compensate for their political failure, once again adopt foreign-aligned stances at the behest of outsiders. The fact that they welcome another foreign intervention under the pretext of Pakistani airstrikes and other foreign meddling shows that, for them, national sovereignty is not a practical goal but merely an empty term.

Those who insist on talking about the fall of the republic and the repetition of unreliable agreements are, in fact, admitting their past incompetence. These opponents, when sitting in the Arg and palaces with the financial and military support of foreign forces, had no questions about the law and popular will. But today, behind the false slogan of “popular government” or what the Democrats call “government elected by votes,” they are trying to protect the interests of their masters. Their political activities, which are heated by holding a few meetings in the halls of European countries and create hopes of gaining power, have no connection to the realities of Afghanistan and are only for the benefit of those who want to live in the illusion of power relying on foreigners.

While Afghanistan is facing the projective incursions of its neighbor, the government’s opponents emphasize unity within their ranks, so that this unity among the opponents aligns with the incursions of the neighbors and foreign intelligence games, thereby achieving their own objectives. In their writings and statements, the talk of pressure and force indicates that these groups are completely devoid of popular support and are merely waiting for foreign military pressure and intelligence games. These positions of the opponents can be considered a significant betrayal of the country’s peace and stability and a new phase of anti-national actions.

These claims that the unity of the opponents against the Afghan government is the path to their victory are a fanciful and foolish notion that has emerged due to the lack of reckoning with the cautionary history of the past twenty years. These groups, when in power, lost the opportunity for the continuation of the republican regime due to their internal conflicts and competition in corruption, so how can they today undermine the Afghan government by forming a union coalition and with the support of foreign powers!? The intensity of their comments is not for the progress of the country but rather as a humiliating attempt to regain their lost prestige and position.

Those who raise theatrical cries in the name of defending the honor of Afghans are, in fact, the ones who remained silent in the face of any kind of foreign invaders’ transgressions during their government’s rule. It is a shame that today, these same people use the name of the people as a tool to pave the way for foreign intervention in Afghanistan for their foreign masters. Their political efforts are not for Islamic and national interests but rather to appease their political masters and safeguard their personal gains, which the people have well recognized.

These project-based activities of the government’s opponents can be considered another shameful step against the will of the Afghan people. When one faction within the opponents is under foreign pressure and the other is waiting for the reactivation of foreign bases, it proves that the term “independence” has no place in their dictionary. The people no longer want to be the victims of these fragmented groups, driven by foreign interests, in their quest for power and wealth. Instead, the people desire an Afghanistan that is free from foreign projects and revolves around their Islamic and national interests.
