According to TASS, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in a phone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, stated that Moscow is ready to provide any assistance to help end the ongoing conflict against Iran and to promote peace in the region.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, both sides reviewed recent military and political developments during the call and emphasized the need to strengthen diplomatic approaches.
Meanwhile, the foreign ministers of Iran and France also held separate telephone talks.
Abbas Araghchi and the French foreign minister exchanged views on recent regional developments and on political and diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
Both sides stressed that resolving the crisis through dialogue and reducing tensions is the most effective way to address the current situation.
