    Acting Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank Meets with Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Central Bank

    As part of a high-level delegation visit to Uzbekistan by the interim government, the Acting Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank, Mr. Noor Ahmad Agha, held a special meeting with Timur Ashmatov, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

    According to a statement from Afghanistan Bank, the discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation, facilitating banking transactions, enhancing capacity building, utilizing national currencies in trade between the two countries, and linking and developing payment systems.
