Officials from the Afghan Carpet Sellers Association have reported that Afghan carpets have been showcased at an international carpet exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey.
According to the association’s officials, machine-made and handmade carpets from 19 countries have been brought to this exhibition, including those showcased by eight Afghan companies.
The officials mentioned that this exhibition, which is the largest of its kind globally, will last for four days and aims to find markets and establish connections with European markets for Afghan traders.
