    Afghan Delegation Attends International Transport and Logistics Forum in Tashkent

    The Ministry of Public Works has confirmed that a delegation led by Deputy Minister for Railways, Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada, took part in the International Transport and Logistics Forum and Exhibition in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

    The ministry noted that regional and international representatives presented new transport and railway projects, along with recent achievements, during the event.

    It added that the Afghan delegation held in‑depth talks with officials from the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan on the Herat–Kandahar railway, the Afghan–Trans initiative, and measures to improve commercial transit.
