    Afghan Forces Intercept Dozens of Smuggled Weapons Entering from Pakistan

    The Ministry of National Defense announced that forces of the 203rd Mansoori Corps arrested two individuals in the Chamkani district of Paktia province, seizing 58 pistols along with a quantity of ammunition.

    According to the ministry, the suspects had hidden the weapons inside a Toyota Fielder vehicle and were attempting to smuggle them into the country from Pakistan.

    The ministry did not provide details regarding the identities of those arrested.

    It is worth noting that just a few days earlier, Afghan forces also seized nearly 100 smuggled pistols in the Nader Shah Kot district of Khost province, which had likewise been brought into the country from Pakistan.
