    A high-ranking delegation from the
Supreme Court, led by Administrative Deputy Sheikh Abdul Malik Haqqani, visited Tehran today.

The Supreme Court clarified that the delegation aims to strengthen judicial cooperation between the two countries, ensure the rights of Afghan prisoners in Iran, and discuss the extradition of prisoners.

During this two-day visit, the Afghan delegation will meet Iran’s Justice Minister, the Head of the Extradition Committee, and other senior officials.

This visit followed an agreement made during a visit by Iran’s Ministry of Justice delegation to Kabul. During the Iranian delegation’s visit, it was decided that an Afghan delegation would travel to Tehran to evaluate the situation of Afghan prisoners.
