    Afghanistan and Belarus Discuss Political Cooperation

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Luka Shevich, held discussions with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, on economic and political similarities and other joint collaborations between Afghanistan and Belarus.

    According to the press release, Mr. Stanikzai described his Belarusian counterpart’s visit to Kabul as a significant development in the bilateral relations between Belarus and Afghanistan and a promising start for long-term cooperation.

    The press release further states that Luka Shevich expressed Belarus’s desire to establish a foundation for cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields. Both sides agreed to continue their discussions through technical teams in Kabul and Minsk to further expand these collaborations.
