Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, held talks with a delegation from Iran led by Deputy Head of Railway Utilization, Engineer Morteza Jafari.

According to a statement from the Ministry, discussions focused on enhancing imports and exports between the two countries via railway connections. The talks also focused on exploring ways to facilitate the transport of Afghan goods to European countries through Iran and Turkey’s railway networks.

Minister Azizi emphasized the importance of providing more support to traders from both countries and boosting trade through railway connections. To strengthen coordination, he introduced a five-member team to the Iranian delegation for better and more effective collaboration.
