The propaganda media of “Afghanistan International,” which broadcasts from London and the United States, has been broadcasting and conducting activities against Afghanistan, Afghan values, and national interests since the first day of its activities. It has largely gathered individuals who had connections with numerous intelligence and criminal networks in Afghanistan during the occupation and the presence of the United States, and who carried out their cultural invasion and war in that country.
After the fall of the Republic, these same individuals were gathered by foreign intelligence agencies for another mission and began their activities under the intelligence and propaganda outlet called “Afghanistan International.” Their main mission in Afghanistan was/is to sow discord among the ethnic groups residing there, ridicule and erase the values of the Afghan people, spread lies and rumors, and conduct comprehensive broadcasts for the benefit of their funders. This media outlet, whose primary funding comes from American, British, and some regional countries, particularly Pakistan’s intelligence and propaganda agencies, has been tasked with the aforementioned mission.
Recently, during the multi-day battle between the Afghan army and the Pakistani military, this media outlet unilaterally and repeatedly published first-hand news from Pakistani security agencies, promoted their interests, and was even provided with agendas, false information, and rumors by Pakistani security agencies before Pakistani media outlets, which they regularly broadcast. Although this war was initiated by the Pakistani side against all international and existing laws and norms, and largely ended in their disadvantage, Afghanistan International has been broadcasting one-sidedly and portraying them favorably from the very first day, at the behest of the Pakistani military and intelligence agencies.
This media outlet, which was given an office in Islamabad to protect the interests of the Pakistani army, has long been known for spreading propaganda, lies, and rumors among its audience. It has now further demonstrated how it uses some countries in the region and the world for its own interests and psychological warfare. In both the Dari and Pashto sections of this media outlet, individuals have been assembled who have previously trampled upon all of Afghanistan’s values and are being used like robots in exchange for dollar salaries. Donors are advancing their projects and psychological warfare thru them and securing their interests.
People inside and outside Afghanistan should first cut ties with this media outlet because it provides them with incorrect information. On the other hand, it has spread obscenity, immorality, division, and hatred, and has become a platform for protecting the interests of foreigners. This propaganda machine, operating under the guise of media, has also dealt a major blow to the profession of journalism, the media, and the status of journalists. Therefore, those who have begun cooperating with this entity for any reason should reconsider their position and avoid responsibility to history and the people, as well as their judgment.
