In a major effort to combat unemployment, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has issued approximately 33,000 work permits over the past three months, as announced by the ministry spokesperson, Samiullah Ibrahim.

According to ministry data, 21,567 individuals have secured employment in the public sector, while 9,809 have found jobs in the private sector. Additionally, 1,920 foreign nationals have also been granted work permits.

Mr. Ibrahim highlighted that these permits have been issued both in public and private sectors. With these recent figures, the total number of work permits issued in the current solar year has reached 90,231.

This development marks a significant step toward reducing unemployment and boosting the economy.
