The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced that the Acting Minister, Nooruddin Azizi, recently met with pine nut traders in the country.

According to reports, the meeting focused on addressing key challenges faced by pine nut traders and emphasized the need for establishing pine nut processing factories.

In addition, discussions were held on boosting pine nut exports, supporting the sector, and creating a dedicated pine nut market within the country.

The Acting Minister reassured traders of his full support, stating that unhealthy competition among pine nut traders will soon come to an end, and all traders will unite under a single association.

Currently, Afghanistan exports pine nuts to countries including China, India, and several European countries.
