    Afghanistan Ready to Restore Engagement with Shanghai Cooperation Organization

    Afghanistan’s ambassador and special envoy to Russia, Mawlawi Gul Hasan Hasan, said the country is fully prepared to resume relations and cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
    In a recent interview with Russia’s TASS news agency, Hasan expressed hope that Afghan representatives would be able to take part in upcoming SCO sessions.

    He noted that SCO member states have agreed that Afghanistan can feasibly and meaningfully resume active participation in the organization’s activities.
