ISNA News Agency reported that the funeral of Iran’s slain Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was held on Friday morning, and he was laid to rest at the Imam Reza Shrine in the city of Mashhad, Iran.
In recent days, his funeral procession was attended by millions of people in Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad, as well as in the Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karbala.
Khamenei was reportedly killed on February 28 in U.S.-Israeli strikes, along with several members of his family and senior Iranian officials.
