    American Physicist Carl Grillmair Shot Dead in His Home

    U.S. media reported that Carl Grillmair, a professor at Caltech (California Institute of Technology) and a renowned physicist, was shot dead in the hallway of his home.

    Carl Grillmair was 67 years old and had been conducting research on galaxies and distant planets for the past 40 years.

    According to The New York Times, police have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.
