In the 19th meeting of the Cabinet, chaired by Acting Prime Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the acceleration of land distribution for returning Afghan refugees was a key topic of discussion.

According to a press release from the ARG (Emirati Palace), the Refugee Commission has been tasked with initiating and speeding up land distribution in provinces where land assessments for refugees have already been completed.

During the meeting, all committees within the Refugee Commission were instructed to fully prioritize refugee-related matters and carry out their responsibilities with complete dedication and sincerity.

Additionally, the National Statistics and Information Authority has been tasked with sending a team to Iran to verify the identities of Afghan citizens residing there. This initiative is aimed at facilitating the issuance of identification cards, passports, and improving access to education and other services for Afghan citizens in Iran.
