Local sources of Voice of Hindukush from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported that armed fighters carried out an explosion on an important Pakistani police checkpost known as “Dami” in the Domel area of Bannu district.

According to the available information, the explosion completely destroyed the checkpost.

Meanwhile, sources close to the Pakistani military regime stated that police personnel had fled the post before the incident occurred.

It is worth mentioning that no group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far; however, Pakistani Taliban have previously carried out attacks on Pakistani police in Bannu.
