Reports indicate that at least 16 people, including three children, lost their lives on Thursday after two migrant boats sank off the coasts of Turkey and Greece.
The reports also mention that one person remains missing, while over 40 individuals have been rescued.
The incidents occurred in the Aegean Sea, between the Greek island of Lesbos and the Turkish coastline.
As of now, authorities in both Turkey and Greece have not released any information regarding the identities of the victims.
