According to international media reports, at least 18 people have been killed in a wildfire in the southeastern region of South Korea, and more than 27,000 others have been displaced from their homes.

Reports indicate that strong winds have exacerbated the spread of the wildfire, resulting in significant financial and human losses.

Local authorities have warned that the fire may continue to spread, but they assured that all available resources will be utilized to control the wildfire.
