In a statement, the Baloch Nationalist Army (BNA) claimed responsibility for two separate attacks that left two Pakistani soldiers dead and two others injured.
The statement reported that the attacks targeted a construction company and Pakistani military units in the Kech and Balicha districts of Balochistan.
The group pledged to continue its armed struggle for Balochistan’s independence.
Local sources report that the security situation in Balochistan is increasingly slipping from the control of Pakistan’s military authorities, as pro-independence groups continue to gain strength.
