The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), an armed separatist group, has claimed responsibility for a bomb attack targeting a military vehicle in the Hironak area. According to a statement released by the BLF, the explosion killed three Pakistani soldiers and destroyed their vehicle.

The BLF is one of several armed groups fighting against Pakistani forces in Balochistan, a resource-rich but conflict-ridden province.

The BLF seeks independence for Balochistan, accusing the central government of exploiting its natural resources and oppressing local communities.
