Belarus agreed to expand the export of equipment and commercial goods to Afghanistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus announced.

According to the ministry, First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Lukashevich met with officials from Afghanistan’s National Development Company, where both sides agreed to increase the export of Belarusian equipment and other commercial goods to Afghanistan.

In a statement shared on its official X account, the ministry noted the agreement spans a wide range of sectors, including industry, agriculture, food supply, healthcare, and education.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry added that the country will continue to prioritize support for major development projects in Afghanistan.

It’s worth noting that a delegation, led by Mawlawi Ahmad Jan Bilal, Head of the General Directorate of Emirati Companies, and Abdulrahman Attash, Chief Executive Officer of the National Development Company, is currently on an official visit to Belarus.
