Famous Israeli journalist and author Ben Caspit has described the agreement between the Zionist Israeli regime and the Hamas Islamic movement as a major defeat for Israel.

In his remarks, Caspit stated that the deal represents a major blow to the Zionist vision of a powerful Jewish state, a vision in which Israelis were supposed to live in peace and security.

He claimed that the ceasefire agreement effectively undermined the ideological foundations that supported the creation of a Jewish state in Palestine.
