A roadside bomb targeted the vehicle of Deputy Commissioner Faisal Ismail in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday (July 2), killing him along with four others and injuring 11 more.
Reports indicate that those killed include two senior police officers, a police officer, and a civilian.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, though the Pakistani Taliban have previously claimed similar attacks in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
