Chinese media have reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping will travel to North Korea on a one-day visit.
Xinhua reported on Saturday, June 6, that Xi Jinping will visit North Korea, China’s longstanding ally, for the first time in seven years.
According to the report, the visit will take place at the official invitation of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and marks the 65th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance between China and North Korea.
