During the twenty years of the puppet republic’s rule, many global and Western powers in Afghanistan, under various titles and with seemingly charitable, cultural, and civil cover, took action to recruit and attract covert and intelligence forces. To this end, they established or supported hundreds of seemingly civil institutions and organizations to both carry out intelligence missions and promote and institutionalize foreign culture and anti-Islamic values in society.
With the fall of the republican government by the mujahid and free Afghans Sons, the Western intelligence forces that were operating under various guises were also dismantled, and they were humiliated and expelled from the country.
But after the Islamic government came to power and the evil plans of the enemies were foiled, they did not remain idle. Whenever they see their twenty years of effort being destroyed and Islamic values flourishing, they become enraged and launch diverse propaganda campaigns against the caretaker government.
One of the important tools in this propaganda war is the use of the very civil institutions and so-called “women’s movements” that officially infiltrated the government structure during the republican period and promoted Western goals.
Today, these institutions also operate abroad as political and propaganda tools against the caretaker government.
In recent days and months, movements under the titles such as “People’s Court for Afghan Women,” “Defending the Rights of Afghan Women,” “No to Gender Apartheid,” and similar, have been organized by these same affiliated organizations. Their main goal is to put pressure on the caretaker government, create a negative image in the international arena, and marginalize countries’ diplomatic relations with Afghanistan.
This is while Afghan women, in light of Islamic values, enjoy human dignity, personal safety, and social respect; a right that is significantly violated in many countries claiming “freedom and human rights.”
Based on Islamic teachings, women in the family and society have the right to own property, inherit, choose their spouses, and manage their own assets – rights that are still completely trampled upon and ignored in some so-called civilized countries.
Despite this, organizations claiming to defend human rights turn a blind eye to the realities of Afghanistan and, instead of understanding the existing realities in Afghanistan, resort to spreading fabricated news and situations they create from their biased minds and consciences.
The blatant contradiction in their actions becomes even more apparent when we know that these very self-proclaimed “human rights” advocates and their supporters have adopted a deadly silence in the face of the daily atrocities committed against Palestinian women and children. They issue noisy gatherings and statements in the name of defending the right to education and freedom of Afghan women, but they turn a blind eye to the fact that Palestinian women are being torn apart under brutal bombings, their schools and universities are being destroyed, and their libraries are being set on fire.
We have never witnessed a protest rally organized by these institutions that champion “human rights” to advocate for Palestinian women and girls. This difference is the best proof of their political nature and their being a tool for use toward specific intelligence objectives.
